The Canadian jazz trumpeter and composer, winner of Radio-Canada’s prestigious Jazz Revelation of the Year award, is releasing his new album, Rich State of Mind, in which he further explores genre fusion.
Drawing inspiration from hip-hop and nu-jazz pioneers such as Robert Glasper and Roy Hargrove, the album emphasizes the intangible sources of richness in life—community, creativity, and resilience—rather than material possessions.
